Authorities Ask for Public’s Help to Identify “John Doe”

Adult Protective Services (APS) is asking the public to help identify a man who has been receiving mental health services in the Harlingen area for several weeks.

APS and area law enforcement authorities have not been able to identify the man through fingerprints, birth date, social security number, military service, or other means. No family members have been found.

The “John Doe” is believed to be between 50 and 60, Hispanic, 5’7”, 165 lbs. He has the name “Changa” tattooed on his left arm. A recent print/broadcast quality photograph is available at http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/images/about/news/2006/2006-03-23_APS.jpg
