Federal Requirements on Cribs:

  • The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has adopted new requirements for cribs.  Child-care facilities will need to replace all cribs with those meeting the new requirements by December 28, 2012.  Information regarding the new crib requirements is available at:  U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission: Crib Information Center Off site link.

Food Program Information

The Child & Adult Care Food Program for Child Care Centers and Day Care Homes (CACFP) is administered in Texas through the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). The CACFP helps child and adult day care facilities, and family day homes to improve the nutritional quality of the meals they provide to the individuals receiving services at their facilities.
