The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) developed the following payment rates for the 24-Hour Residential Child Care (Foster Care) program operated by the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS).  HHSC authorized DFPS to implement these recommended payment rates effective September 1, 2013.

Effective September, 1, 2013, the amounts above are the minimum amounts that a child-placing agency must reimburse its foster families for clients receiving services under a contract with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
