This revision of the Adult Protective Services Handbook was published on October 6, 2009. Summaries of new or revised items are provided below.
Criteria for Administrative Review for School Employees
During handbook revisions earlier this year, an error was made in section 5425.31 Criteria for Administrative Review for School Employees. Currently, the handbook states the timeframe for a request for an administrative review to be received by the department is 20 days after the official notice was mailed by DFPS. However, the correct timeframe for receiving a request for an administrative review for school employees is 30 days after the official notice was mailed by DFPS. See:
