Child Removal (4th Amendment) (PATS 2367)

The CPS handbook is being revised to:

  ·  address a recent court ruling and the emphasis on 4th Amendment rights and exigent circumstances; and

  ·  meet the requirements of a federal act to improve the permanent placement options for children in state care (the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008) and the act's supporting Texas legislation.
