Licensing Policy and Procedure Handbook Revision April 2010
This revision of the Licensing Policy and Procedures Handbook was published on April 1, 2010. Summaries of new or revised items are provided below.
Policy in the following items of the handbook has been updated to include the change in the time that Licensing must wait before issuing a permit to a child day care provider from two to five years, if that provider has their permit revoked or denied on or after September 1, 2009. This change was mandated by Human Resources Code §42.072(c), formerly known as Senate Bill 68.
