Revisions for Clarity and Consistency

The following minimum standard rules have been revised to increase clarity and consistency. Notice that while some of the rule numbers were repealed, the rule content still applies and has been moved to another minimum standard rule.

746.2801 To what extent may caregivers discipline the children in their care?

This rule has been repealed. Its content has been moved to 746.2803 What methods of discipline and guidance may a caregiver use?.

746.2803 What methods of discipline and guidance may a caregiver use?

This rule has been amended to include the content from repealed 746.2801 To what extent may caregivers discipline the children in their care?.

746.2809 Must I have a written discipline and guidance policy?

This rule was repealed. Its content has been moved to other rules as follows:

• Subsection (a) has been moved to 746.501(7) What written operational policies must I have?.

• The portion of subsection (c) relating to separate documents has been moved to 746.503 Must I provide parents with a copy of my operational policies?.

Subsection (b) and most of (c) were deleted because they were redundant as they are already required by 746.503 Must I provide parents with a copy of my operational policies?

746.2813 How often must I update my written discipline and guidance policy?

This rule has been amended to delete the requirement that parents be given a copy of updated discipline and guidance policies because this is already required in 746.505 Must I provide parents with a copy of my operational policies?.
