Factor B: Ages of Children

Factor B: Ages of Children

  • younger children = fewer children

The ages of the children are important to determining the number of children you can care for at one time.

For instance, caring for infants and toddlers requires much more individual attention. As a result, infants and toddlers reduce the total number of children allowed in care.

Registered Home Allowed Example:

  • 4 infants, 2 preschoolers, 0 school-age (6 total children)
  • 3 infants, 1 preschooler, and 2 school-age (6 total children)
