1440 Security of Case Records

Management Policy

Staff must ensure the security of case records as required by DFPS licensing standards. Staff must prevent alterations or destruction of the case record and unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.


Staff resigning from DFPS or transferring to other positions must relinquish all case records and documentation to their supervisor by the end of their last workday, or by a subsequent date approved by the supervisor.
