Case Connection is a web-based tool on the DFPS case management system (IMPACT) that allows Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to share information about children they serve. The goal of Case Connection is to increase and improve collaboration between DFPS and CASA.

CASA staff and their volunteers can download summary reports and data from Case Connection on specific children involved with DFPS. They can also upload specific documents and photos of the children as well. Case Connection will contain key information about each child but not the entire DFPS case. Case Connection is mobile-friendly, making it easy to use for CASA and DFPS workers in the field.

CASA volunteers are appointed by courts as independent advocates for children in DFPS conservatorship cases.
