Programs Available in Your County
Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) manages community-based
programs that prevent delinquency, abuse, neglect and exploitation
of Texas children; helps communities enhance services provided through
the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services; assists
communities in identifying prevention and early intervention needs,
and supports the development of, and modifications to, new and existing
programs designed to prevent or reduce poor outcomes for children,
youth and their families.
If you represent an organization that provides services to families, check the Electronic State Business Daily
(ESBD) for funding opportunities through PEI.
To find out more about the type of services offered, click the program name or contact the PEI staff members listed below. All services may not be available in all Texas counties. The names and phone numbers for the contracted service providers as well as PEI are updated every six months and were last updated January 30, 2012.
