Programs Available in Your County
Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) manages community-based programs that prevent delinquency, abuse, neglect and exploitation of Texas children; helps communities enhance services provided through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services; assists communities in identifying prevention and early intervention needs, and supports the development of, and modifications to, new and existing programs designed to prevent or reduce poor outcomes for children, youth and their families.
If you represent an organization that provides services to families, check the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) for funding opportunities through PEI.
Click the program name or contact the PEI staff members listed below to find out more about the types of services offered. All services may not be available in all Texas counties. The names and phone numbers for the contracted-service providers and PEI staff are updated every six months. They were last updated May 4, 2015.
